1 Where are you located?

I live in Italy, and I work primarily in Piedmont and Tuscany, but as a destination wedding photographer I can travel to wherever you want to celebrate your wedding or elopement.

2 Are you willing to travel abroad?

Sure! Travel is a fundamental part of my life, as well as an important part of my work as a photographer. I started traveling at a very young age, looking for stories to tell, and I have already visited over 20 countries in my travels. So if you like the signature style of my photos, don’t hesitate to contact me; I’m ready to follow you anywhere, even to the ends of the earth!

3 How long have you been a photographer?

After getting a degree in architecture at 23, I specialized first in Photography at the European Institute of Design in Turin and then in Visual Storytelling at the International Center of Photography in New York. My work has been exhibited in numerous Italian galleries, but also in New York, Miami and Berlin.
I am an artist: creativity and the urge to experiment are part of my nature. I have always dedicated myself to travel and social reportage, working on personal projects and telling life stories around the world. About 10 years ago I decided to dedicate part of my work to love stories, and I began to specialize in destination weddings.

4 How long in advance do we need to book you?

My advice is to book as soon as possible, because I only do a maximum of 25 weddings a year. I made this decision because it’s important to me to devote plenty of time and all my attention to each couple, not only during the  photo shoot but also in the planning and post-production phase and in the composition of the wedding album. If I’m not available for your preferred date, and if you trust my taste and my experience, I have a carefully selected team of photographers you can count on in my place.

5 How do we request an estimate?

Just fill in the contact form with information about your wedding. Remember, the more details you give me, the more accurate my proposal will be.

6 Do we have to sign a contract?

Yes, a signed contract locks in the reservation: I confirm that I will be your wedding photographer and I guarantee my availability for that day and all the services attached to it. The contract can be viewed and signed online and requires a 50% deposit at the time of signing to book the date, while the balance will be paid one month before the wedding.

7 What happens after we book you?

Once the booking is confirmed, it’s finally time for us to get to know each other. I’ll need to ask you some questions to understand what kind of wedding you have in mind and how you imagine the visual story of your most beautiful day unfolding. We can meet in person or, if that’s not possible, we can meet via email and Skype. It’s important to define the timeline of the wedding day so that I’ll be able to do my job smoothly and without stepping on the toes of the other professionals who’ll be there for you.

Once these organizational aspects have been taken care of, we’ll find ways to get to know each other better and we’ll be able to create something magical together. What I like to build with my wedding couples is not simply a working relationship, but a deeper relationship based on mutual respect and trust. My couples can count on me for the whole organizational period and beyond – it’s important for me to be involved throughout the whole process, to know all the details, to see the clothes – especially the bride’s – so that we can create the perfect day together.

8 Do you visit the wedding venue beforehand?

Yes, of course! The location plays a fundamental role in a destination wedding and before the wedding day I always dedicate some time to a study of the places you have chosen for the ceremony and reception. This allows me not only to identify the most evocative settings in which to produce the most stunning photos, but also to plan the wedding reportage precisely, so that we have plenty of time for the pictures we want to take to tell the story of your love.

9 What will the photo shoot on the wedding day be like?

Before your wedding, together we’ll plan the visual story you want to tell, based on your wishes and needs. I am always available to cover the entire event on the wedding day, ideally from a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 12 hours. This allows me to photograph all the most important moments of your wedding day, from getting ready to the ceremony to celebrating with friends. 

Through my photos I want to document the emotional narrative of your most beautiful day: the hugs, smiles, tears and toasts, so that you can relive it all, browsing through my photos.
My favorite moment is definitely the photo shoot immediately after the ceremony, when I can capture a more intimate look at your new life together, the first steps you take together as newlyweds, a moment that is only yours.

10 How many photographers do you need? Do you work alone?

Each wedding photography package is customized according to your wishes and needs. We’ll make every choice together.

For weddings with between 80 and 150 guests, I always recommend the presence of a second photographer, who helps me capture even more memories of your day in order to create a truly complete story. Usually I dedicate myself to the bride, while the second photographer takes care of the groom, and then we continue together from the ceremony to the toasts to the dances. This allows me to be sure that every moment will be immortalized: the location, the flowers, the setting, friends and relatives … in short, every detail.

If for some reason it’s not possible to have a second photographer, there will still be an assistant with me, who will allow me to stay focused on you and dedicate all my attention to you. If you’re planning a more private wedding surrounded by only a few family and friends, I prefer to work alone in order to respect the intimacy of your wedding.

11 How much does a wedding photography package cost?

I can offer you packages that vary according to the length of the photo shoot and the number of photographers. However, my packages are fully customizable according to your needs. 12 When will our photos be ready?

The photos will be ready for online viewing within 90 days of the wedding date. The wedding album takes about 3 weeks from the final selection of the photos and the choice of the album design.

13 How many photos do you deliver to the newlyweds?

Depending on the photo narrative we plan together, I deliver between 400 and 800 photos. All the photos are professionally edited by me personally, in my distinctive style, some in color and some in black and white, and made available in high resolution in your private online gallery.

14 How does the online gallery work?

When the photos are ready, you will receive an email with instructions and the access codes for your private online gallery, which you’re welcome to share with your family and friends. Once you’ve logged in, you can download the entire gallery or just the photos you want. You will also have the opportunity to purchase prints and frames of the quality and size you want through the site.

15 Do you also do other kinds of photo shoots for couples?

Absolutely! Aside from the wedding day, my most requested service is an engagement photo shoot, which captures the special period leading up to the wedding. It’s also a great opportunity to get comfortable with the camera and with me. Another service I offer is an elopement photo shoot, for those who choose a truly romantic getaway with very few guests in an intimate location away from everyone else’s eyes.

16 Do you also provide video services for weddings?

Yes, I can also provide video services; if you wish we can even film using a drone! I have been collaborating for years with some professional videographers with whom I find myself in perfect harmony both in terms of visual style and approach.
